The Saudi National Orchestra and Choir will take to the stage at Sydney’s Concert Hall in the Sydney Opera House on 12 May 2025, offering audiences a unique evening where Saudi musical heritage meets global sounds.

Part of the Saudi Music Commission’s ongoing efforts to promote the Kingdom’s cultural richness abroad, the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concert promises an evening where traditional Saudi melodies are reimagined alongside world-class orchestral arrangements.

The performance will also feature collaborations with Australia’s Metropolitan Orchestra and acclaimed guest artists including didgeridoo virtuoso William Barton, celebrated saxophonist Nicholas Russoniello, and Felix Riebl from The Cat Empire.

Presented by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, the event is more than a showcase of musical talent; it is a celebration of cultural dialogue through the universal language of music. Audience members can expect a journey through Saudi Arabia’s evolving musical landscape, blending historic traditions with contemporary interpretations.

The concert in Sydney marks the seventh stop on the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’s global tour, which has already received praise in cities including Paris, Mexico City, New York, London, Tokyo, and Riyadh. Each performance on the tour has served as a platform to introduce Saudi Arabia’s musical artistry to new international audiences.

Tickets for the Sydney concert are now available, with prices ranging from AUD 65 (SAR 155) for the Upper Circle to AUD 300 (SAR 718) for Circle Box seats. The performance will begin at 7:00 PM.

As Saudi Arabia continues to expand its cultural footprint globally under the umbrella of Vision 2030, initiatives like the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra tour underscore the Kingdom’s growing commitment to sharing its artistic traditions with the world.
