Tommy Pniewski is an Architect and Business Development Manager at Kuryłowicz + Architects (K+A). He was born in New York, USA, and completed his studies in the United Kingdom and the United States. Architect and Professor Peter Eisenman described Tommy’s master’s project as “a lot of talent.” While living in the UK, Tommy worked for several architectural practices in London before moving to Poland with his family. Over the past five years at Kuryłowicz & Associates, he has been involved in numerous prestigious projects both in Poland and abroad — in the educational, hospitality, transport, and residential sectors — as well as in major urban design competitions, such as the proposal for the new headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels. Tommy is a marathon runner, triathlete, writer, artist, and beekeeper. In parallel with his design work, he also contributes to the architectural discourse by writing on architectural theory. Tommy’s architecture company K+A is opening its studio in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2025.
