Apple Launches Online Store and App in Saudi Arabia, Announces Retail Store Openings

July 23, 2025

Apple has officially launched its online store and Apple Store app in Saudi Arabia, marking a major step in the company’s regional expansion. Announced on July 21, the rollout introduces for the first time direct retail services from Apple in Arabic, offering customers in the Kingdom access to the full range of Apple products and localized support.

The launch allows users in Saudi Arabia to browse, compare, and purchase Apple’s products directly from the company, rather than relying solely on third-party retailers. The Apple Store app also provides a tailored experience based on the devices a customer already owns, including personalized product suggestions, saved items, and order tracking.

“We are thrilled to bring the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app to Saudi Arabia, offering customers a new way to explore and shop Apple’s extraordinary lineup of products and services,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. “Our customers in Saudi Arabia are passionate about the things they can do with technology, and our teams can’t wait to connect with customers and help them discover how Apple innovations can meaningfully enrich their daily lives.”

The online store includes features such as configure-to-order Mac options, allowing users to select chip, memory, and storage preferences. Apple Watch buyers can also customize case and band combinations. Free engraving is now offered in both Arabic and English for eligible products such as AirPods, Apple Pencil, and AirTag.

Apple has also partnered with local payment provider Tamara to support flexible purchasing through a Buy Now Pay Later option, which allows customers to pay in four monthly installments at zero percent interest. Additionally, the Apple Trade In program is now available in the Kingdom, enabling customers to exchange old devices for credit or recycle them for free.

After purchase, customers can access setup support and assistance from Apple specialists. This includes guidance on device setup, transferring data, activating cellular services, and switching to iOS.

For customers looking for added protection, AppleCare+ is available on devices such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. It includes two years of service coverage, priority technical support, and protection against accidental damage.

Education pricing is also now accessible through the Apple Education Store in Saudi Arabia. University students, parents, and faculty can receive discounts on eligible Mac and iPad devices. A back-to-school offer running until September 30 allows eligible buyers to receive free AirPods or another accessory with their purchase.

Looking ahead, Apple confirmed plans to open its first physical Apple Store locations in Saudi Arabia starting in 2026. Among the planned locations is a flagship store in Diriyah, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The store is still in the early planning phase.

This retail expansion builds on Apple’s earlier activity in the country, including the 2021 launch of the Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh. The academy was developed in partnership with the Saudi government, Tuwaiq Academy, and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
