EgyptAir announced on Wednesday, 12 August, that it will operate direct flights from Jeddah and Medina to Alamein International Airport from 13 August to 12 September 2026, with one weekly flight from each destination.
The initiative marks a targeted expansion of the national carrier’s network to serve rising travel demand for emerging Egyptian destinations, while also strengthening direct connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Egypt’s North Coast.
EgyptAir expects the direct service to support highlighting Egypt as a destination of choice, particularly as New Alamein continues to attract visitors who want both seaside experiences and international events.
With hosting high-profile events and festivals, Alamein has positioned itself as a year-round destination with an appeal extending beyond the region.
