The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed seven agreements with leading American companies specializing in data and artificial intelligence on Thursday, 20 November, as part of the Saudi-American Investment Forum held in the U.S. capital.

The agreements represent a significant effort to expand the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure and bolster its artificial intelligence capabilities, encompassing a wide array of initiatives, including enhancing data networks, accelerating AI adoption, and cultivating the skills of the national workforce.

Under one agreement, Supermicro will collaborate with SDAIA on server solutions, data center design, AI-focused events, and training programs aimed at building local expertise. Dell’s deal focuses on accelerating AI adoption through enhanced infrastructure and knowledge-transfer programs.

Accenture will work with SDAIA to bolster leadership in AI, including workforce transformation efforts and public awareness campaigns. Cisco’s collaboration will promote digital transformation in the public sector and the development of scalable, AI-enabled data centers.

SDAIA’s agreement with Boomi aims to enhance innovation across Saudi Arabia’s AI ecosystem through AI data centers and broader knowledge-sharing initiatives. SambaNova will support national AI capacity-building via joint events, training camps, and awareness campaigns. GitLab will explore skills development, innovation projects, and expand the global reach of Saudi-developed AI solutions.

Together, the agreements reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing strategy to position itself as a regional leader in artificial intelligence and digital technology.

The deals were finalized on the sidelines of the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., which brought together senior officials, CEOs, and executives from major Saudi and American firms, according to the Saudi Press Agency. SDAIA President Abdullah Alghamdi led the signing ceremony.
